A high point in the sport utility market is the Lexus LX470. In 2005 Lexus rolled out an upgraded version of the LX470 with one versions: Base. The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $65,225 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of $56,745. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 4-door Sport Utility.

The standard warranty period for the LX470 is 48 months, or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. This is standard in the sport utility market.

Fuel Efficiency

The LX470 Base received a miles-per-gallon rating of thirteen in-city driving and seventeen when it came to highway driving. Being a gas-powered non-hybrid truck, this was within normal parameters.
