Our Review of the 1996 Infiniti Q45 Base
A lot has been said about the Infiniti Q45 for 1996. As Infiniti's entry in the sedan market the Q45 (and in this case specically the Base version) has maintained a good reputation. The 4-door Q45 is especially appealing to wide market segment, making it a perfect car to help Infiniti as a brand in general.
Infiniti Q45 Engine Specs
The restyled Q45 Base is equipped with a Nissan 4.5-liter 8-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 32 valves. The engine is paired with a Jatco 4-speed transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Infiniti.
The fuel system for the 1996 Q45 is a SFI design, running on gasoline fuel. The fuel flow is regulated by a electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The storage capacity of the fuel tank is 22.50 gallons.
