Our Review of the 1997 Infiniti QX4 Base

Standard equipment in the QX4 for 1996 and 1997 includes the 3.3 liter engine by Nissan, weighing in at 6 cylinders and twelve valves. A 4-speed Automatic Transmission puts the power of the engine to the pavement. This is a long-standing favorite for buyers in the Sport Utility arena.

There are several reasons why the Infiniti QX4 Base sold well in 1997. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a Infiniti, specifically a QX4.

I saw the recent news about Infinitis and their reliability. I personally would check out web sites like edmunds.com and others before I made a choice of a truck like the QX4.
